POF Plastic Fiber Cable TTL Serial Transceiver Board

Description The board allows to send TTL serial TX and RX signal input and output via the plastic fiber. Please note the plastic fiber is a cost-efffective solution, it is (1mm core) about 10 times bigger than glass fiber which is 0.1 mm. The fiber solution is best for against signal interferences, useful application scenarios like drones signal, home domestic audiso system, etc. Read more info in our POF wiki page. Board Features: Based on the standard chip application design. Advertised transmission distance up to 2KM. Howevery our real test is about 30-40 meters, may need further tuning. Use a general current limit resistor for most common case, but you can also switch to a poteniometer to tune for best transmission. Jumper connected 5V and VCC power supply, 5V on TXD side, and VCC on RXD side. Normally no need to change. Connect any serial TTL debug cable in TXD-RXD, RXD-TXD loop to test.
