BlenderBottle Hydration Koda Water Jug 2.2 L, Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been a water hog and during pregnancy it seems my demand for water doubles, at the very least. I have always invested in stainless steel bottles as I hate the “taste” of plastic – for some reason I have always found a weird taste in water or drinks served in plastic. The problem with stainless steel bottles were two fold though- one was their limited capacity and the other was their weight. Now I have a toddler who is just asking for trouble with every move and the stainless steel bottles I had became an extra hazard I needed to remove from my life. Here is why I am in love with my new investment: AMAZING CAPACITY: With the reviews of the Koda, I thought why not try this? I can’t tell you how happy I am with my decision! For one, the capacity is HUGE! It holds half a gallon of liquid which significantly reduces my trips to the kitchen for refills. Now I have to refill every few hours instead of on the half hour mark maximum. DURABLE MATERIAL: The material is very durable and is not one of those flimsy bottles frequently seen in stores and supermarkets. There is no noticeable smell or taste whatsoever when my water is poured in. LIGHTWEIGHT AND PORTABLE: I LOVE (did I say LOVE) how light and convenient it is to carry around. It fits into my stroller organizer’s cupholder section too which my stainless steel couldn’t. I have taken this to the office, and have taken it to three roadtrips. if you love it while you’re stationary, there is no doubt you won’t love it during travel! HEALTH CONSCIOUS FOLK FRIENDLY: Being pregnant, it was imperative that everything I use be as safe as they possibly could be. I love how this bottle is both BPA and phthalate free. Most on the market are just BPA free, if that. CONVENIENT HANDLING: The Koda has a very ergonomic friendly handle for carrying the bottle and what I can say is that even with arthritic hands, the handle is quite easy to use without causing pain or discomfort. TRULY SPILLPROOF AND TODDLER PROOF: My toddler has dropped this a million times already and at first I was scared that the whole thing would spill from the fall. To my surprise, the lid is so well constructed, that I haven’t had that happen yet! The lid also has a wide opening which made it perfect to sip some of the thicker consistency smoothies I love so much! So far I have used it for water and smoothies that were premixed or did not require the blender bottle feature to be used, but what I can say is that the blender part that is included seems to be far more durably constructed than other ones I have used in the past. Overall, there is really nothing that leaves to be desired in this bottle. It’s perfect for home use or use on the go. It’s clearly toddler proof, ergonomic, and even health conscious person proof. Definitely recommend this for anyone who either can’t abandon their attention for hydration (such as myself) or anyone who needs more work in that arena.
